Our people

Maureen Moran is the founder and Director of YaPS Consultancy delivering training, mentoring and supervision to a range of Government, non-government and community-based organisations across remote, rural and urban locations. She has worked with children, young people, and families for 25 years and she has a background in domestic and family violence prevention, education, child protection and childhood trauma.

 

She currently specialises in cultural awareness training, trauma informed program development and training, and trauma informed professional supervision.

 

She has a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Certificate in Developmental Trauma, Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Level 1 Sensori-Motor Psychotherapy training.

 

Maureen has worked with the SISTER2SISTER foundation as a consultant, trainer and program facilitator for 12 years. She has also designed and delivered the No Limits for Girls Program for vulnerable girls in Year 7.

 

She loves her work with the Foundation, particularly working with the young people who come into the programs, and she is looking forward to continuing her partnership with the Foundation into the future.
